CT Weather Forecast: Hazardous Weather Outlook Issued

The National Weather Service has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for all of Connecticut until Monday morning as dense fog is causing reduced visibility for motorists. A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect until 5 a.m. Monday. For all of Connecticut, the National Weather Service says, visibility may be reduced to one-quarter mile or less at times tonight and early Monday. "Limited visibilities will make travel very difficult,"the weather service cautions. "In fact, the fog will be dense at times, limiting visibility to 14 or less. It will also be warm for this time of year, with lows ranging from the lower 40s to around 50. Fog will burn off early Monday morning. It should remain dry with above normal temperatures continuing for this time of year. Highs will be in the lower to middle 50s." The National Weather Service says, "A cold front will move through late Monday into Monday night, bringing a return to below normal temperatures into the middle of next week. High pressure building in behind the cold front will mean a continuation of dry conditions." Connecticut has seen so much rain over the past six months including this weekend. Here's some good news, there is no rain or snow in the forecast through at least next Sunday. It will be chilly with temps near 40 or in the upper 30s from Tuesday on, but there isn't expected to be any precipitation. The Weather Channel has no snow in Connecticut's forecast through Dec. 16, but we all know that can change quickly.
